Shu Ya Bao 熟芽苞 – A Caffeine-Free Favorite "Tea"
This herbal "tea" is found on trees that grow among the ancient tea trees and throughout the forest of Yunnan, on Nannuo mountain. The nested buds, reminiscent of bamboo shoots, sprout in winter instead of spring and offer a wonderful alternative for lovers of gong fu cha who want to avoid caffeine. This is a ripe (shu) version from Tea Master Li Shulin.
